Fall Work Camp
After a long weekend at Laurelville Mennonite Camp retreat I sit back and catch my breath for a minute. Six Messiah students gave up their fall break and went with us to do some work at the camp. The work we completed was the removal and rebuilding of the entire roof structure of a cabin. We also framed up interior walls to make way for a new floor plan. It was a little rough the first day or so since it rained, but we all pressed forward to complete the tasks at hand. I can say though, the camp was beautiful with all the changing leaves around us. Anyway a good time was had by all in serving the Lord in this copacity.
Securing Speakers for Summer Work Camp
The process has begun to find and secure speakers for the 2010 Summer Youth Work Camps. Half of the weeks are filled so far. The speakers as of now are Mr. Garrett Low (6/20-26), Rev. Ben Murray (6/27 – 7/3) and Rev. Jeff Berger (7/11-17). Updates for the rest of the weeks will be forth coming.

Word in Action Lebanon
The work went well on saturday. We hung dry-wall, replaced ceiling tiles, mowed the lawn, polyurethaned the front door, and many other things. The one home owner expressed her appreciation for all the things the group accomplished. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping those in need.
